We started up our own company and were recommended to use Burton Beavan. Initially I was a bit apprehensive, as it was quite a drive from our office and I thought all accountants were the same.
However, as soon as we came into the offices and met Tim, we felt immediately at ease. He explained everything to me in simple terms for me. He was very thorough and we felt totally at ease.
Of course we had a few teething problems. One phonecall to Burton Beavan and it was sorted out straight away. They have honestly taken away a lot of our headaches and stopped quite a few sleepless nights! A special thanks to Anna, who is wonderful and helpful too – even though she gives me the VAT bill! Massive thanks to the lovely Elaine who is an absolute star. She actually saved our Christmas – we had a nasty letter from the Inland Revenue on the 23rd December. I called her basically in tears. The letter was sent in error. One phonecall and she sorted it out. I don’t know what we would have done without her.
I recommend Burton Beavan to everyone. Not to sound too slushy, but they don’t seem just like accountants, they really are lovely, genuine, helpful people.
